Stavangerflint Apotek Plate
My grandpa was a pharmacist and my grandma's father was from Stavanger (Rennesøy to be precise), so this Stavangerflint plate showing a drug store was a doubly-important souvenir. The back shows that it was made for a pharmaceutical company: "Med vennlig hilsen fra Marwell Hauge Farmasøytisk A/S" ("Best wishes from Marwell Hauge Pharmaceuticals"). The artist was Kari Nyquist.

Stavangerflint Souvenir Plates
Three souvenir Stavangerflint plates we have hanging in our kitchen. I was surprised when I found plates for nearby areas that were made in Norway!
The Door County, Wisconsin and Minnesota plates are by Inger Waage. The Red Wing, Minnesota plate is by Kari Nyquist.

Stavangerflint Kari Plate
Stavangerflint plate designed by Kari Nyquist in her typical blue-hued glaze. The Stavangerflint logo on the back has the mysterious hatch-mark at the 10:00 position.

Stavangerflint Souvenir Plate for the Rotary
Stavangerflint produced many souvenir pieces for customers outside of Norway. This plate is interesting because it has a scene of Stavanger, but the back indicates it was created for the Rotary District 129, which I believe is in the UK. The artist was Kari Nyquist - her pieces were most often created in a blue silkscreen on a blue background, although she did also work in other colors.
