Michael Andersen Å Kirke Font

This Michael Andersen piece is pretty faithful recreation of the baptismal font in the Å Kirke in Åkirkeby, Denmark on the island of Bornholm.  The red interior glaze has a nice metallic sheen to it.  There were at least two sizes of this piece, and this is the larger (largest?). The original medieval font can be seen here (follow the døbefont links). (did I get all of the Danish right??)

  1. This is so gorgeous! Would you know where I can buy a piece like this? I found some on Etsy, and I might buy one of those, but this particular piece is exquisite. I'd be grateful for any information on how to acquire something similar.
