Stavangerflint Minnesota Plate

A fun Inger Waage-designed plate highlighting some of the attractions around Minnesota - the capitol in St. Paul, Paul Bunyan, and the Split Rock Lighthouse.  I think the scene in the center is from the Soudan Underground Mine State Park in northern Minnesota, and the green statue is Leif Erikson in Duluth (I had to search for that on google - I had no idea what it was!).

Telemark Vase

Update:  Thanks to a reader comment, I now know that the maker was Brødrene Vaaten (the Vaaten Brothers), and the mark on the bottom is actually Br. V.

This is a recent eBay find.  I'm not sure who made it, but the marks on the base are similar to the Terra pieces that I have, but I don't know what "BIV" means, or if that's what it says.

Stavangerflint Bergen Plate

The colors on this Stavangerflint plate are much brighter and more vibrant than most of the Inger Waage designs.

Pineapple Upside-down Cake

I made my first pineapple upside-down cake today... it was good, if I do say so myself!  The Porsgrund Farmers Rose plates and Tostrup silver were my grandma's.

Graverens Bird Bowl

The same three-footed bowl as yesterday, but with a bird design.  None of the numbers on the bottom of the two bowls match, so they apparently aren't related to the shape.
